Glasgow Good Information Group (GGIG) Documents

Between 2008 and 2012, the Glasgow Good Information Group (GGIG) carried out 2 pieces of research into the information needs of people with learning difficulties. The documents are designed to help organisations to produce easy read documents.

The Access Guides

The Access Guides were produced by GCIL and are useful wall charts that give general good practice guidance on access issues for public buildings. They are designed to be large wall posters and, for best results, should be printed on at least A3 size paper. Alternatively you can phone Disability Information Scotland on 0300 323 9961 or email info@disabilityscot.org.uk for copies to be sent out free of charge.

Enabling Information Report

A report on improving access and raising standards in information services for disabled people and their carers in Scotland. By the Scottish Working Group on Information Services for People with Disabilities, 1995.
