Aims:
To assist in the provision of leisure facilities for disabled people.
Services provided:
Hire out three specially designed boats Charlotte lll, Isabella and Lilia which are suitable for a wheelchair user and family and friends.
Charlotte lll can accommodate up to seven passengers, is fully wheelchair accessible throughout and is fitted with hydraulic lifts, ceiling hoist over bed, spacious shower with shower wheelchair and low level windows.
Isabella and Lilia can accommodate six passengers, as well as being fully wheelchair accessible and fitted with hydraulic lifts, disabled steering system, ceiling hoist over one bed and spacious shower with shower chair.
All boats are equipped with a disabled steering system to enable a wheelchair user to take charge of the tiller.
Cost:
– £650.00 – £800 per week, depending on season
– £8.50 for bedding and bed linen, per berth, per week.
