About domestic abuse:
Domestic abuse is controlling, coercive, threatening, degrading and/ or violent behaviour (including sexual violence) perpetrated by a partner or an ex-partner.
It can begin at any stage during a relationship or after a relationship has ended.
Domestic abuse can happen to anyone from any community, and having a disability can potentially increase the risks of domestic abuse.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
We are able to provide emotional support, safety planning, and onward signposting over the phone, by web chat, or by email.
When you contact the helpline, you will be supported by people who understand and who won’t blame or judge you. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
