Aims:

  • To ensure individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, or of services available to them
  • To exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally
  • To enable clients to manage their own problems, in the sense of enabling them to do for themselves whatever they need to do, using as best they can, their own skills and resources.

  • Can advise on a whole range of health and disability issues.
  • Macmillan Project – specialised advice for anyone affected by cancer.               Tel: 01463 706 178. The service is based at Raigmore Hospital and offers support throughout the area served by Raigmore. Advice and support is available over the telephone; ward or hospital appointments or home visits can be arranged.

Inverness Badenoch and Strathspey Citizens Advice Bureau operate a general advice drop-in service between 10am – 1pm (no appointment required). However, emergencies will be seen as necessary.  

 

Monday:         9.45 – 16.00 (telephone advice 10.00 – 16.00)

Tuesday:        9.45 – 16.00 (telephone advice 10.00 – 16.00)

Wednesday:  9.45 – 16.00 (telephone advice 10.00 – 13.00)

Thursday:      9.45 – 16.00 (telephone advice 10.00 – 16.00)

Friday:            9.45 – 16.00 (telephone advice 10.00 – 13.00)

Saturday:       10.00am – 1.00pm (appointments only)

                        and Telephone advice only: 09.30 – 12.30.
