Services provided:
Wise Women pro-actively address women’s fears and experiences of violence and crime by providing free Personal Safety and Confidence Building Courses and Workshops to women living in local communities in Glasgow.
They also provide Courses and Workshops for women who experience different and additional types of violence and abuse as a result of discrimination; e.g. Black and Minority Ethnic Women, Disabled Women, Young Women, LGBT Women and women dealing with complex issues.
As well as this, they provide information and advice for women and staff on all aspects of violence against women.
