Waverley Care Milestone

Supporting people living with or affected by HIV or Hepatitis C in Scotland.

Aim:

Waverley Care is Scotland’s HIV and Hepatitis C charity. Across Scotland, we are reducing new HIV and hepatitis C infections, encouraging people to get tested and providing support to people living with or affected by these conditions. Through our work, we are also challenging HIV and hepatitis C related stigma, tackling health inequalities and promoting good sexual health.

Our services:

If you are living with, or affected by HIV or hepatitis C, we’re here to support you in whatever ways you need, and offer a safe, welcoming environment where you can talk openly without judgement or stigma.

Our services can support your physical and emotional health needs, alongside providing practical support with day-to-day issues:

Specific services include:

 

  • Advice and Information
  • One-to-one, peer and group support
  • HIV & Hepatitis Testing
  • Residential Support (Waverley Care Milestone)
  • Self Management

 

In addition, we offer a range of specialist projects and services which cater to specific groups, including:

 

  • African communities
  • Gay and bisexual men
  • People affected by drug misuse
