- The Agency is a focal point within central government for providing information and advice on issues of concern to veterans and their families
- The administration of the War Pension scheme and the Armed Forces compensation scheme
- The provision of advice and guidance on a one to one caseworker basis through it’s network of veterans welfare offices
- Management of the Ilford Park Polish Home, Devon (care of Polish veterans and their families.)
