Thera (Scotland) supports adults with a learning disability to live the life they choose.  They were set up to bring Thera’s unique vision of support to Scotland.

Thera (Scotland) currently supports people in Midlothian, Falkirk and Inverness areas.

  • Support at home (also known as supported living)
  • Community support
  • Doing things during the day
  • Short breaks (also known as respite)
  • Personal care
  • Support with transition from school to adult support such as college or work.

They also have lots of experience of supporting individuals and organisations to manage the transition from residential care to housing support.

Gig Buddies is managed by Thera Trust. It’s a volunteer befriending scheme for adults with learning disabilities and autism, matching them with a volunteer who shares the same interests.
