The Daisy Project

Alleviating the suffering of women and their families who are or who have experienced domestic abuse

Services provided:

The Domestic Abuse Project is an organisation dedicated to alleviating the suffering of women and their families who are or who have experienced domestic abuse.

The Project adopts a needs led approach which recognises that each family has differing needs and there is no “one size fits all” solution. Based in the local community centre their service is provided in a low key easily accessible setting.

Working in partnership with statutory agencies and other voluntary organisations the project has successfully developed services to help women and children in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow. In the past three years the project has helped around 100 people each year to address issues of domestic abuse and has developed the following service profile; information, guidance, one to one support, small cell group work, personal development, training, access to services, agency assistance and feedback.
