Services provided:

The diagnosis of a brain tumour is the start of a journey that is complex, difficult and isolating.  People with a brain tumour, and their families, can face many choices and it is hard to get reliable information
on which to make those decisions.  In addition to choices over treatment, families face the impact emotionally and on quality of life of the tumour and treatments.  Being diagnosed and treated, often with a poor prognosis, is a traumatic experience. The Brain Tumour Charity aim to provide essential information for everyone, starting at the point of diagnosis, as we know this will reduce misunderstanding, anxiety and depression.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the only national brain tumour charity to provide a depth and variety of information and support services which allow people personally affected by brain tumours to access support online, face to face, on the phone or in printed form across the whole of the UK, regardless of tumour type, age or location.
