SurvivorScotland oversees the National Strategy for survivors of childhood abuse. It has been developed by the Scottish Government and aims to raise awareness of childhood abuse and its long-term consequences, improve services and enhance the health and wellbeing of survivors. To do this they work in a variety of ways, including funding of support organisations, a national training programme for front line workers, data collection projects and sharing of best practice.
The website is full of helpful information for anyone who has been affected by child abuse in any way.
