Aims:
To improve the quality of life for people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and children with autism by training and educating dogs to act as safe and efficient assistants.
Services provided:
Train disability assistance dogs and seizure alert dogs. Disability assistance dogs help with everyday tasks such as opening / closing doors, raising an alarm or going to the shops.
Seizure alert dogs give their epileptic owners a warning before the onset of a seizure. This removes the danger from everyday activities such as cooking, taking a bath or crossing the road.
Autism assistance dogs are trained to meet the needs of both child and parents for a degree of predictability in social settings helping to bring independence not just for the child but for the whole family.
