Centre Algarve is run by a UK Charity whose aim is to offer this unique holiday centre to individuals or families and in addition education trips / holidays to special needs schools and organisations that may never have had the opportunity to experience a holiday together in an environment that caters for their needs.
The centre consists of 14 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 full hygiene rooms with power hoists, a ground floor that is totally wheelchair friendly (no ramps or steps), a soft play and sensory room, sensory garden with raised beds, restaurant, American self-catering themed diner, education centre, swimming pool with hoist, paddling pool, outdoor sanded play area and a petting zoo with animals chosen for their friendly nature (including meerkats). There is something for everyone.
Just 1 kilometre away is the Portuguese town of Moncarapacho with its local restaurants and shops. Also close by are excellent beaches, a waterpark, Wildlife Park, Adventure Park and a Zoo. You can enjoy the local markets and even visit Spain.
The Centre is set in the beautiful Algarve in Portugal just 20 minutes from FARO airport, getting there is easy and means you don’t have a long journey or transfer. The Centre Algarve is managed by an English family and safety, comfort and enjoyment is always their goal.
