To provide information and support so that families can make informed choices

To increase awareness of trisomy among medical and care professionals, and members of the public
services provided:
• SOFT UK provide information and support to families through publications, their website, direct enquiries and Family Events
• SOFT UK provide a Peer Befriending Service to families, using trained volunteers who are Trisomy parents themselves.
• SOFT UK provide information and training for professionals through the website, direct enquiries and the provision of bespoke training for professionals.
local groups:
SOFT UK currently operates family events in England (for England and Wales) and Scotland. We hope to offer events again in Northern Ireland in the near future
