Services provided:
Sense is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They provide tailored support, advice and information as well as specialist services to all deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them.
Their Family Advisers, covering the whole of Scotland, can support you and your family with benefits advice, representation and how to cope with the transitions of life. Or maybe you just need someone to listen to you, in your home or at the end of a phone.
They can respond to families requests across Scotland, and are happy to arrange a home visit at a time that suits families and carers. They also have a Parent Enabler Project which can support families who live with in NHS Greater Glasgow area and care for disabled children up to the age of 19.
