Involving young people from across Scotland, the Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP) is an a political organisation campaigning to highlight the voice of Scotland’s young people on a national and international stage.
The SYP has at leat four national meetings a year where they discuss issues which affect young people and try to propose new and sometimes radical solutions to these problems.
The SYP also carries out a range of consultations which allow the young people of Scotland to have an input to the key decisions which affect them.
One of the most unique features of the SYP is that it is entirely youth led – no major decisions in the organisation are taken by anyone over the age of twenty five.
