Aims:
To enable women to:
- engage with the Scottish Executive, Scottish Parliament and other institutions
- ensure that issues important to women are considered at all stages of the policy process
- make a real contribution to policy development in Scotland
- include as many women as possible from all groups in Scotland.
Services provided:
SWC provide opportunities for debate about tackling specific issues such as:-
- The average hourly gap between women’s and men’s wages in Scotland
- Lack of child care in women’s participation in work, education and training
- Improving access to public services such as transport, health care and education for all women in Scotland
- Violence against women
- Decision making in public and political life

There is no charge for membership.
