SASLI exists to promote quality and standards of good practice in the delivery of communication support for Deaf and Deafblind people throughout Scotland.
Description of service:
- Recruitment and ongoing training of communication support professionals
- Continuous professional development checks for continued registration
- Support services for members
- Membership meetings
- Dissemination of information, resources and events for both SASLI registrants and members, and users of SASLI registrants
- Cooperation and partnership with other organisations working in the field (nationally and internationally)
- Online database of communication support professionals
