Aims:
The objectives of reunite are to provide confidential advice, information and support to parents, family members and guardians whose children have been abducted, who may have abducted their children, or who fear abduction. reunite also provides advice and information in international contact and relocation cases.
Services provided:
- Provides the only advice line service in the UK specialising in international parental child abduction
- Provides an emergency advice service outside of office hours
- A Parent Forum on the website enables parents to have a voice on the issue of international parental child abduction and contact others in a similar situation
- Provides specialist advice and training to lawyers, government departments and other professionals involved in this area
- Co-ordinates and publishes a list of national and international lawyers who specialise in abduction and child custody cases and holds an extensive database of lawyers worldwide
- Offer a mediation service in cases of abduction, prevention of abduction, contact across international borders, and leave to remove a child from one legal jurisdiction
- reunite also offers information in Urdu and Gujarati, Polish and Spanish.
