Aims:
To promote and provide services for adults with learning difficulties and to provide support to their families and/or carers.
Services provided:
- Provide short break respite care in ordinary domestic housing for weekend, midweek or week long stay
- Provide limited opportunities for day care provision, to existing service users in the form of a “Mini Break”, to encourage community integration and to promote basic skills towards independent living
- Referrals are made through the Social Work Department.
There are two respite houses in Kirkcaldy. Service users have their own bedroom in a three bedroom home and take part in activities and preparing meals.

Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm
