Aims:
Prostate disease affects one in two men during their lifetime. Prostate Cancer UK are working to help men and their families beat prostate disease now and in the future. Research and education are at the core of everything they do to beat prostate disease and within each of these they have three main aims.
They fund the best international research into prostate disease; they promote collaboration between researchers; and they share and promote the findings of research relating to prostate disease.
They educate primary healthcare professionals in prostate disease and its management; they provide training grants for urology specialists; and they educate and inform the general public about all aspects of prostate disease.
