Aims:
To rebuild the lives of people shattered by paralysis, by using exercise therapy.
Services provided:
- Use of the system of exercise therapy, created at the Dikoul Institute in Moscow combined with disciplines from sport and exercise sciences, to optimise health, fitness, well-being and functional fitness
- Programmes from 2 weeks to 13 weeks are available, Monday to Friday, five days a week. Clients work to an exercise programme which is designed specifically for individual needs and aims. It is a form of extreme physical therapy including FES (functional electrical stimulation) that work on every part of the body – It’s their job to help maximise the potential of every muscle that works and explore the areas that the client might not have considered functional through a client centred approach.
