Orkney Islands Council – RADAR Keys

Local Authority providing RADAR Keys free of charge

Services provided:

Holders of RADAR keys can use public toilets designed for people with disabilities. These are often locked. But the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation – RADAR – provides keys that allow universal access to the toilets.

RADAR keys are available from Orkney Islands Council Customer Services team. There is no charge, no proof of disability is needed and they can be kept for as long as needed. The keys can be used throughout the UK, so are useful when travelling or on holiday.

RADAR keys are free of charge.

Opening hours:

Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
