Services provided:
The Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 gives OSCR the general functions of:
- determining whether bodies are charities
- keeping a public register of charities
- encouraging, facilitating and monitoring compliance by charities with the Act
- identifying, investigating and taking action in relation to misconduct
- giving information or advice to Scottish Ministers.
