The National Kidney Federation (NKF) has been representing renal patients for over 40 years and is unique in being the only national charity run by kidney patients for kidney patients. They run the only UK Helpline dedicated solely to patients and families with kidney conditions on 0800 169 09 36 and has a web site with everything you need to know for a kidney patient including over 200 different educational leaflets regarding kidney disease. www.kidney.org.uk
