We mainly support Black and Minority Ethnic community to access NHS health services and other services including those them can self refer to.

MEHIS Aims to

Improve the health and wellbeing of all minority ethnic communities, including refugees and asylum seekers across Lothian.

  • Provide a multi-lingual Link-worker / Advocacy service.
  • Address health inequalities.
  • Encourage best practice and race equality in health service planning and provision.

We also provide “Let’s Prevent Diabetes” sessions.
