Aims:
To advance the education of adults in Scotland by supporting membership of voluntary adult learning organisations.
Services provided:
- Promoting adult education within community based education
- Promoting the role of the voluntary sector within adult education
- Liaising with central government or other agencies in matters of common concern to voluntary organisations engaged in the provision and promotion of adult education in Scotland
- Providing a forum for, and promoting the exchange of ideas between, member organisations
- Providing training to meet the common needs of member organisations.
