Services provided:
Professionals from statutory and voluntary organisations such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, welfare officers, the police and probation officers, identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher.
Clients bring their voucher to the foodbank centre where it can be exchanged for three days supply of emergency food. The list of foods in each parcel have been designed by dieticians to provide recipients with nutritionally balanced food. Some foodbanks run a delivery service, to get emergency food to clients living in rural areas and those who are unable to get to a foodbank.

Mondays – Ibrox Parish Church, Clifford Street, Ibrox G51 1QL, from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm.
Wednesdays –
Mosspark Baptist Church, 155 Corkerhill Road, Glasgow G52 1PG from 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Thursdays – Preshal Trust, 8 Aboukir Street, G51 4QX from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm.
Fridays – Hillington Park Church, Berryknowes Road, Cardonald G52 2UD, from10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Please note that they can only give out food to those presenting an official voucher – these are available from various front line professionals.
