Description of service:
Provides free of charge manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters to people with limited mobility for use in shopping malls and in town centres. Manual wheelchairs can be borrowed for longer use – overnight, weekends or holidays.
Opening hours:
Tuesday – Friday, 9.30am – 4.30pm. Closed daily between 1.00pm and 1.30pm for lunch.
Additional information:
Volunteer companions can be provided to assist while shopping. Staff and volunteers are trained in correct wheelchair pushing and sighted guide skills.
Provide information about disability and mobility products.
There are also Shopmobility branches in Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy.
