Aims:
To provide a comprehensive social work service to children with permanent or profound learning or physical disability or sensory impairment.
Services provided:
If you have a child with a permanent or profound disability, our team will undertake an assessment of need and is responsible for co-ordinating, supporting and reviewing the provision of care and support services to children and their families. We work closely alongside families and multi agency professionals to support children to achieve the best outcomes in life.
Within our team we also have Paediatric Occupational Therapists who assess the need for, and make recommendations around the equipment required to support a young person in their home.
