Our services are focused on improving the mental, physical, and financial wellbeing of people with epilepsy.
- Our confidential helpline service 0808 800 2200 provides a first point of contact for any type of epilepsy related query and a safe and non-judgmental space to talk. Our helpline is open 10am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Our check-in service makes regular calls to those struggling with isolation and anxiety helping them through a difficult time in their life
- Our information service offers a wide selection of publications on epilepsy, all of which can be downloaded from our website and printed. We can also post out printed copies on request free of charge.
- Our Welfare Rights Service helps to improve the financial wellbeing of people with epilepsy by providing support to navigate the social security system, from making benefits applications to representation at appeals
- Our adult Wellbeing service consists of tailored one to one and group support, workshops, and professional counselling all designed to improve wellbeing of people struggling with a diagnosis of epilepsy, and to reduce loneliness and isolation. Much of this structured support can be done by telephone/online opening up our service across the whole of Scotland
- Our Youth service supports children and young people across Scotland by providing a safe space, online and in person groups and social activities, and one to one support to make them feel less alone and help overcome isolation, low confidence and self-esteem. We can also deliver age appropriate schools awareness talks across Scotland.
- Our professional trainers provide epilepsy training across Scotland, online and in person, including first aid and the administration of emergency medication, and general awareness sessions to a wide sector including support staff, employers and families affected by epilepsy
