Aims:
ELAS is an independent social and mutual support group for adults over 16 with diagnosed or believed Asperger Syndrome or Autistic Spectrum condition. Based in Edinburgh but folks from any distance are welcome. It meets weekly in both modes: by video meet (at present Skype), and in person in the cinema/theatre bars around Lothian Road. These meets are all-purpose: mostly social, with any business or serious autism questions welcome to raise too.

ELAS aims to provide a safe community for autistic folks to meet, accept, value and support one another and share ideas and coping strategies in order to promote self help and solidarity. It has a model strongly constituted ethic against arbitrary rejection. It makes links with folks from other autism groups, autism professionals and service providers.
