Services provided:
Section 23 – 24 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 state that the Council has a duty, when asked, to assess children affected by disabilities, and their carers, to determine the needs of the child and the ability of the carer(s) to provide for them.
Services available include –
- Share the Care – family based respite service
- Residential Respite Care
- Outreach service
- Befriending
- Enquiry and Response Service
- Information on Direct Payments and Self Directed Support.
