Aims:
DELTA is a nationwide support group of teachers and parents of deaf children, providing support, information and advice to guide parents in helping their children develop normal speech and to live independently within a hearing society.
Services provided:
- Promotes the Language of the Home as a method for helping hearing impaired children
- Arranges meetings for teachers, doctors and other professionals, to raise the awareness of the range of opportunities available to deaf children
- Runs summer schools for the whole family.
