Influenced by our members preferences, we organise events where there are opportunities for new friendships and connections to be created. We facilitate friendship matching, date chaperoning and training workshops. Our workshops aim to enhance our member’s knowledge, confidence and wellbeing.
Our events are held daytime and evenings, we host the usual favourites bowling, meals out, lunches, pub nights and our Club night happens the first Friday of each month.
Each of our six Dates-n-Mates branches are led by a small dedicated team. Each team includes Directors who have a lived experience of learning disability. Members and Directors influence the direction of the organisation and the range of opportunities we offer.
