Aims:

CYANS (Children and Young Peoples Allergy Network Scotland) was set up with the aim of supporting the development of allergy care and improve access to allergy services for children, young people and their families across Scotland.

The website contains:-

  • Young People Support Sites and Apps
  • Resources
  • There is a section designed for health care professionals who look after those suffering from allergies. Here you can find useful allergy resources including . pathways, guidelines and links to relevant training.
  • Families section contains useful links to help with the practicalities of living with allergies including travel advice, recipes and much more.

The work of CYANS will be used to develop recommendations to the Scottish Government, in order to help shape future allergy services and provide support for children, young people and their families and the health care professionals who care for them. 

As part of the work of CYANS they need the help of all clinicians in primary care who provide allergy services for children and young people in Scotland, to take part in their online surveys and help reshape allergy services in Scotland.
