Formerly known as Glasgow Anti Racist Alliance (GARA), CRER is focused on helping eliminate racial discrimination and harassment, and promoting racial justice across Glasgow/Scotland. Over the years, CRER has had a key role in advocating, campaigning and influencing development to promote racial equality. It has been effective in responding to a broad range of interests needed to make an impact on deep-rooted issues and respond to communities needs. CRER has many years experience of anti-racist work spanning, amongst other things, youth empowerment, community engagement, pioneering research, as well as in helping to mainstream race equality across Glasgow / Scotland’s public sector.
