Services provided:
Deafblind Scotland are running a project called “Connect to Welfare Rights”, which is aiming to make welfare rights more accessible for deafblind and visually impaired adults.
The projects aims to:
- Provide welfare rights information in different formats
- Provide advice and support
- Assist with completing forms/li>
- Carry out benefit checks
- Maximise income
- Raise awareness within communities
- Challenge inequality
The project is being run across the West of Scotland including; Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, and East Renfrewshire.
