Services provided:
Connect Online is a project run by Una Paterson at Volunteer Midlothian. The service offers free one-to-one IT tuition to housebound individuals within their own homes. Learners may be housebound due to illness, disability, restricted mobility or carers who cannot leave the person(s) they support. Volunteers visit the learners for one hour per week for up to 8 weeks and tuition topics can be flexible depending on the needs of the learners.
The project coordinators also deliver small group IT sessions in various community settings throughout Midlothian.
