Aims:

  • To ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively
  • To exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

services provided:

Provide free, impartial, confidential and independent information and advice to members of the public.
Help can be given with filling in forms, benefit entitlement, advocacy on behalf of clients or explaining the rights and responsibilities under the law.
Provide advice on benefits, consumer problems, employment issues, housing problems, relationship troubles, debt and any other general problems encountered.
