Aims:
To relieve the anxieties, problems and sometimes injustices, faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets.
Services provided:
- UK network of volunteers to provide help with dog walking
- National fostering service for the care of pets whilst their owners are in hospitals
- Long term care for pets when their owners have died or moved into residential homes, that do not accept pets, providing arrangements have been made with the Trust well in advance
- Pet sanctuary.
cost:
The Trust receives no state or local authority aid and does not make charges for services, but it hopes that pet owners who benefit from their work will make a contribution towards the cost.
