- To raise awareness of the difficulties faced by young people and their families in accessing special equipment that will raise the quality of their lives
- To inform of the need for better services and provision for children and young people with disabilities.
services provided:
Children Today give grants for a wide range of equipment for children and young people with disabilities, that are not funded through the NHS. These include powered, manual and sports wheelchairs, specially adapted tricycles, bicycles, buggies and walking aids, a wide range of communication aids, adapted car seats, educational toys as well as specially designed sensory equipment such as fibre optic sprays.
