Aims:
To provide information and support to children and families affected by brain injuries that happen after birth (acquired brain injuries) giving every person the opportunity to achieve their potential.
Services provided:
- Provides information and advice to the families and friends of children with ABI, and to appropriate professionals via telephone and email helpline
- Training and information for professionals
- Runs a small grants scheme for children with ABI and their siblings
- Carries out fundraising activities
- Links families
- Awareness raising
- Co-ordinates meetings and conferences
- Family support worker.
