Aims:

Carers Trust Scotland is the largest provider of comprehensive carers support services in the UK. Through its unique network of independently managed Carers’ Centres and interactive websites the Trust provides quality information, advice and support services to carers of all ages.

Services provided:

Carers’ Centres can provide:

  • information and advice
  • emotional support
  • advocacy
  • access to respite care or practical help at home
  • training, social and recreational events for carers
  • community consultation
  • helpline for carers (see separate entry).

Local groups:

There are Carers’ Centres throughout Scotland, one in most local authority areas from Orkney to the Borders, currently reaching over 33,000 carers, including 3,600 young carers.

Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. Contact their office for details of your nearest local carers centre.
