Services provided:
The British Red Cross can lend items of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, bed rests and commodes, to people on a short term basis.
They also provide short-term practical and emotional support at home to help people regain their independence.
The service includes:
- rebuilding confidence
- collecting prescriptions
- offering companionship
- assistance with shopping.
