Support organisation working to improve the quality of life for people that work with people with learning disabilities

Aims:

To improve lifestyles for people with learning disabilities.

Services provided:

  • Offers education and training: in-house courses, training needs analysis, conferences and seminars
  • Provides information and resources: information database, books, journals and a membership network
  • Research and consultancy: service evaluation, service development and applied research projects.

 
publications:

BILD publishes a range of high quality books and training materials, plus a series of books for people with learning disabilities to use on their own, or with their carer.
They also publish at least four quarterly journals and a termly journal for schools.

Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.
