BounceOT Stirling CIC has been established for over 7 years across the Forth Valley area in Scotland.
We aim to provide a fun and unique safe space where children and adults with disabilities can experience inclusive and purposeful play with their families to create meaningful moments together. Our skilled and caring staff can offer targeted, specialist support for anyone who wishes to develop tailored, therapeutic goals – and parents who would like a short respite.
We strive to be inclusive to all individuals who experience inequality by providing services to those with, and without, a diagnosed disability or long-term condition.
The main intervention offered at BounceOT is using a trampoline and other play equipment for therapeutic purposes – otherwise known as ‘rebound therapy’.
The activity sessions last between 45-60 minutes and are offered as 1 of 2 options when booking: Family Fun or 1:1 sessions (with certified staff):

Family Fun Session:
Come along to our autism-friendly and wheelchair-accessible therapy room in Stirling for some family-fun time, or to play with a purpose. You will have exclusive access to the space and all specialist equipment for up to 1 hour.
1:1 Session:
One of our certified Therapeutic Play Leaders will facilitate inclusive, therapeutic play activities for your child/ the person you support at our autism and wheelchair-friendly therapy room in Stirling!
Parents & carers can get involved in the fun – or get some much-needed respite time!
Typically, service users move between Universal & Targeted levels of support throughout their time accessing BounceOT (e.g. access the inclusive play space for ‘family fun time’, then attend 1:1 support with certified staff to develop targeted goals).
Service users can continue using the service for as long as they need (depending on their needs), however typical clients stay with us for up to 4-5 years, attending weekly or fortnightly sessions all year round. We still support a small number of clients and their families who joined us when the service was founded in 2017.
