We are based in the Beach Hut in North Berwick Harbour. We provide free hires of beach wheelchairs to help anyone with reduced mobility to get on the sand at our beautiful beach. We have a range of wheelchairs to suit as many people as possible. The wheelchairs are comfy, supportive and safe. We have 1 all terrain power wheelchair, 2 children’s manual beach wheelchairs, 2 adult manual beach wheelchairs and a hoist that takes loop style slings (you must bring your own sling). We have a range of supports and additional equipment to make your trip as comfortable as possible.
To avoid disappointment we advise you pre-book with us. You can book by phoning us on 0300 111 2112, contact us via our Facebook page or email info@beachwheelchairs.org. We hire our wheelchairs all year round but in the low season we are 100% volunteer run.
