The Bank of Scotland Foundation supports people and their local communities across Scotland

Purpose:

The Bank of Scotland Foundation is an independent charity supporting people and their local communities across Scotland. The Foundation aims to do this by assisting charities in their work with funding through their Small and Medium Grants Programme.

Their Small Grants Programme accepts applications between £1,000 and £10,000 from charities registered in Scotland. They particularly wish to help with developing and improving communities.

Their Medium Grants Programme accepts applications between £10,001 and £25,000 from charities registered in Scotland. They particularly wish to help with:

  • Developing and improving local communities 
  • Financial literacy and financial inclusion 

Their Large Grants Programme accepts applications between £50,000 and £100,000 from charities registered in Scotland. We particularly wish to help with:

  • Developing and improving local communities 
  • Financial literacy and financial inclusion 

The Matched Giving Programme is run by the Bank of Scotland Foundation and is open to all Lloyds Banking Group staff in Scotland. Staff can claim £1000 for charities of their choice. Up to £500 can be claimed for fundraising events as well as up to £500 for voluntary time given – provided that claims fall within the rules of the scheme and the charity is eligible for funding.
