Aims:
The Back-Up Trust inspires people to transform their lives after spinal cord injury. The charity challenges perceptions of disability and run services which grow confidence and independence and offer a supportive network.
Services provided:
- Hold wheelchair skills services at spinal centres and in communities across Scotland and the rest of the UK which are peer-led. They aim to increase the skills and confidence of participants
- Run a range of rehabilitation courses that include everything from vocation support to adaptive skiing and are supported by able bodied volunteers.
- Peer-led Mentoring programme.
- Family Support
- Under 18s Support including return to education after spinal cord injury
membership cost:
No charge for membership.
Opening hours:
Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Publications:
Publish a newsletter on a regular basis.

The Back-Up Trust is a charity which receives no Government funding and are reliant on the support of members and the good will of the community for their continuing success.
